HOME VISIT AND EUTHANASIA

I will come to your home, administer a pain-relief and sedation that helps relieve pain, provide relaxation and comfort before gently saying goodbye. I am happy to create a painted or ink paw print on cardstock for you at no charge. You may handle your pets remains for the after-care or I can assist in providing the following cremation options.

The preferred method of payment is cash or check.

Credit card payments are accepted. Please do let me know before the appointment if you prefer to pay by card as a payment link can be text messaged before the appointment. As of 4/3/2024, I will add a 3% processing fee for credit card transactions.

* Appointments made less than 24 hours in advance on evenings and weekends are subject to a $25 after-hours care charge. It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to add this fee, as I am focusing on my own family time.

INDIVIDUAL CREMATION


Gentle and caring transportation of your pet to a trusted crematorium. Your pet is the only animal present.
The ashes will be returned in 10-14 days. Depending on availability, returned to your home or you can pick the ashes up in West Mankato or from your veterinarian.

You may choose to have the ashes returned in an Woodchuck urn, Sheesham urn, Tree of Life urn (walnut or oak), Silver Metal urn or Keepsake urn (cardboard). See below for photos.
An ink paw print on cardstock paper is available as an option at no charge.

CREMATION WITHOUT RETURN

After the in-home visit, your pet will be transported to a trusted crematorium. The cremation will be performed without the return of ashes.

Your pet will be treated in a respectful and trustful manner.

Urn Options Included at No Additional Cost

You may choose to have the ashes of your pet returned in an Woodchuck urn, Sheesham wood urn, Tree of Life wood urn, Silver Metal Urn or a Keepsake cardboard box.

Please note that wood urns are real wood, as such they are prone to variability of wood grain and color.

Dr. Holly’s favorite urn and recommendation, the TerryBear Natural Wood Photo Urn with Lucida font engraving of your pet’s name into the wood of the urn.
This is a lovely urn made by a St. Paul, Minnesota-based company.

The cost of this urn is $240 with Halo Pet Care making a donation to BENCHs in honor of your pet.


Our pets are by our side and with us always in our hearts. A small portion of the ashes can be placed into a discrete stainless steel pendant that you may carry with you around your neck, hold during walks, or with you anytime. The pendant is 1.5 inches long and 0.3 inches wide and can be unlabeled or engraved with ‘Forever Loved’.

Travel Fee per Visit Outside the Mankato area is $3.60/mile

Outside the Greater Mankato Area, Accommodations can be made when available; a one-way trip fee of $ 3.60/mile applies.
You can estimate the travel fee by basing the travel from your address to West Mankato, MN.

Example, you live 30 miles from West Mankato
30 miles x $3.60/mile = $108 Travel Fee

Paw Prints

All euthanasias include ink paw prints to help you remember your friend.
Clay paw prints are available upon request ($15).
